Take The 30 Challenge
This week, I want to expand more on Creating Summer Momentum in your Network Marketing business … If you haven’t already watched last week’s show, you might want to watch that one first.
Back in April, I issued a 30-Day Challenge to all of you to help you go from average to extraordinary. The challenge was to commit to doing at least 30 presentations with a prospect in the next 30 days, and also challenge your team members to do the same. This challenge involves talking to people and sharing your opportunity. Now, if you are a shy person, or introverted, this can really be a struggle… As someone who is introverted and struggled with this exact thing back when I was getting started, I know exactly how intimidating and daunting of a task recruiting and prospecting can be. Recently I held a webinar on the “7 Steps to Becoming a Recruiting Machine”, and in this webinar, I help you overcome some of the mental blocks you might have and also give you the 7 steps you need to become a recruiting superstar …

V4 FINAL – WARRINGTON STORY
In this week’s Million Dollar Interview, Eric interviews power Network Marketing couple Clive Leach and Diana Ross. They are from the UK and also have a home in Florida. They are number 2 in their company and have over 178,000 thousand customers in their organization and throughout their career in Network Marketing, they have earned over 14 million in commissions. Diana is a master promoter and Clive is an amazing trainer, and together they have built an empire which has forever changed their family’s future and contributed greatly to countless others.
However, things were not always this bright in their lives and with their financial security. Diana tells us of being a young girl of only 11, and her parents had just split from a bad marriage, and she and her mom were broke and struggling very hard. When she became old enough to work at the age of 14, Diana went on a crusade to find a job. After many No’s, she finally got a Yes and found a job so she could help contribute to the struggling household. By the time Diana had finished her primary education, she was offered a place at the university, but she turned it down. Diana wanted to get married and have a family. When she was 22 years old she had her first son, and then her second son followed 5 years later, however, she was still struggling to make ends meet, and she was working all kinds of part-time jobs to provide for her children. She knew there had to be a better way, but she didn’t know what that was. It wasn’t until she lost twins, which were born premature and only survived 24 hours, that she realized how short life could be, and a sense of urgency to find a better way took hold of her.
Clive’s story is a bit different, he was raised by both parents in the middle-class household and was educated at good school, and then went to work in the textile trade. While on a business trip to America he encountered two American gentlemen who showed him the power of leverage and he was blown away. He went back to the U.K. and a network marketing opportunity came along and he joined. That was in 1986, and he has been growing, building, and learning ever since.
Once Diana made the decision to join a network marketing company, she went all in with her recruiting efforts and was quite successful at it, however, she still didn’t understand the concept of duplication. It wasn’t until her upline held a home meeting and Clive came to give a training on duplication that she understood the leverage. This was also the meeting where Clive and Diana first met and fell in love…and a powerful force united. Diana was amazing at promoting and Clive was the master of training and leadership, and a union of the both was destined to be great.
Diana and Clive have been in Network Marketing for over 25 years, and they went through a couple of different network marketing companies before they found the company they are currently with and have been with for the past 19 years.
When asked why Network Marketing for all of these years, they both agreed at first it was for financial reasons, but as time passed and financial goals were met and they were making residual income, it became about contribution to others. To help others live their dreams and meet their goals.
Clive and Diana give this advice to anyone just starting out or currently building: “Think about where you are in life right now, and then think about where you would like to be? What does that look like? What does this provide for you and your family? What do you drive? Where do you live? Where do you travel?” “Write it all down in a journal and keep it with you every day, because, on this journey that you’re going to go on, things are going to get tough sometimes. Sometimes things don’t always work out, but you open that up, and you look at what you’ve written down, and that will help you get through those tough times. “
In this week’s show Eric Worre breaks down a critical skill set that you need in order to be more successful in both your network marketing business, and also your personal life. That skill set is Personal Development. You have heard Eric talk about mindset and personal growth a lot and how it relates to growing your business and becoming a professional. This week he digs deeper into this topic with hi newest show, 4 Steps to Positive Change.
As Eric explains, one of the greatest things about the Network Marketing profession, is the person you become in the process of growing your business. “You get to make what and who you are, so if you become more of a person, you become more of a leader, and you earn more…” When he started out in network marketing, he immersed himself in positive development. He read and listened to every expert on the topic so that he could become a better business person and have a more successful personal life. In 4 Steps to Positive Change, Eric gives you the steps that will help you navigate your change, to help take you from a place of frustration to a place of confidence, boldness and positive self-esteem.
The first step is awareness. That means looking at your life and business now, and finding the stumbling blocks that are in your path. For example, what is causing you not to excel the way you want to? What causes your procrastination? What are your bad habits?
The second is understanding. Eric explains that for him it was tiny triggers that he didn’t even realize were happening at the time. For example, if he got rejected, he subconsciously pulled back, started to apologize for the opportunity and procrastinate. So understanding what is causing your roadblocks really helps in making a difference to positive change.
The third is disassociation. This can be very hard for most people. Disassociation means removing things, people or circumstances in your life that cause negativity or rob and steal your time and mental energy.
And the final step is reconditioning your mind around a new positive habit. As Eric explains with procrastination – if you are a procrastinator, read books on overcoming procrastination. You should also hang around people who aren’t procrastinators so you can pick up positive habits from them.
In conclusion, the key concept to understand from today’s show is this: If you’re doubting whether or not you can be successful in network marketing, you can let that go right now. Every person watching this – you’re watching this for a reason. You have it within you to get better. You have it within you to grow and change and develop your skills.

It’s no secret that many people struggle with how to effectively communicate, invite, and prospect. This can be especially hard when trying to present your opportunity, product or service in Network Marketing… In this week’s Network Marketing Pro training video, Eric Worre gives you the Magic Question to ask that will create more results in growing your business than any other.
It’s simple and easy to remember, just four words: IF I, WOULD YOU?
In this 9-minute video, Eric always gives you practical application and examples on how to use this question, and the psychology behind it. He explains the reciprocity of the question is why it works so well. What that means is by offering to do something first, and then asking them to do something, we’re hard wired as human beings to respond positively to that type of question.
He gives several practical applications of how to use this question, such as: “If I gave you a sample of my company’s product, would you take it? If I gave you a DVD, would you watch?”, and many other examples. Eric explains how you can literally apply any aspect of your business to this, and how it works even inside of your organization.
Incorporate this key concept into your network marketing business make it become second nature in all of the questions that you frame for a prospect, or even for your team members. This simple idea can be implemented immediately, and will increase results in your prospecting and business building efforts!
